Yoga is a practice founded in traditional Work Schools and is intended to help you access your own inherent wisdom and achieve your highest potential; to discover your True Self. At Seven Directions Yoga LLC the individual is seen as a whole greater than the sum of his/her parts, and all necessary aspects of healing and therapy are addressed through the lens of Yoga's clear seeing and the evidence-based practice of current Yoga Therapy strategies. Assessment, goal setting and outcomes define the treatment and practice, and the client is the driver of his/her destiny.

Yoga Therapy is an effective and compassionate healing modality that integrates the physical, mental/emotional and spiritual components of human life. Yoga Therapy can be applied in a small group or a one-on-one relationship of client and therapist. Since it is holistic, it encompasses a full picture of health via four aspects. The first is the physical practice of asana to rehabilitate and heal from injury, regain balance and functional movement, and to lessen chronic pain. The second aspect is breathing, meditation, and concentration techniques which address behavioral and emotional issues, including anxiety and trauma. The third aspect focuses on Rasa and Ayurveda as a means to support healthy dietary, nutritional, and elimination practices. The fourth aspect is support for seeing one's self as the spiritual Divine Nature that Yoga philosophy embraces as our True Self.
